More Memories

I received a comment on my website http://www.rogerhaley.com/ from a fellow sailor and future friend. He said he enjoyed my columns at www.theparisnews.com/guestcolumns.lasso and the reminiscing of my Navy days. Watch for a new column about January 3rd. My childhood was an interesting time. Most children were expected to, or had to, work, either on the farm or ranch, or at a paying job. Rather then feeling punished, most of us accepted it as a way of life. Perhaps that's why a large percentage of the students from our small country school went on to become successful entrepreneurs.
